Former Celtic Manager Neil Lennon was pictured drinking in a popular Dublin pub over the weekend.

Lennon and his family were pictured enjoying pints of Heineken during a staycation in the capital.

The River Bar, located on Burgh Quay beside O’Connell Bridge, hosted the Co Armagh man and his family on Sunday.

The Dublin city centre pub shared photos of the group to their Facebook page, saying: “Look who dropped in for a pint.”

Lennon’s 13 year career as a football manager ended earlier this year when he resigned as Celtic manager in February.

The former Hoops skipper’s second spell in charge of the Glasgow giants came to an end earlier this year.

It brought down the curtain on a glittering career at the Parkhead side where he had two spells as manager following his trophy-laden time at the heart of the Bhoys’ midfield.

Playing in the engine room of Martin O’Neill’s star-studded side, Lennon picked up five Scottish Premier League titles along with four Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups.

He also featured in the epic UEFA Cup defeat to Joe Mourinho’s Porto in Seville in 2003.

The 50-year-old first took the reins at his boyhood side in 2010 and guided the side to three Premier League titles before resigning in 2014.

After spells at Bolton and Hibernian, he returned to the Celtic Park hotseat in February 2019 after fellow Northern Irishman Brendan Rodgers’ departure to Leicester City.

He saw out the historic “treble treble” that season before capturing all three trophies again the following season.
