On many occasions we have been waiting for an important email to reach us by GmailHowever, hours pass and the message still does not appear in our inbox. This makes us think that we still haven’t received anything until we look in the “Junk” folder and find it. In the next note we are going to teach you a trick so that the messages arrive directly to your main inbox and not to Spam.

Suddenly you have gone through a situation where an email could change your life, either due to a job interview, a work contract, etc., and when you thought they had not sent you anything, you look in the Spam tray and you are surprised to find the email you urgently needed to reply to.

This will no longer be a problem, below we will teach you a trick to prevent emails from Gmail go directly to the “Junk” folder. Follow the steps:

  • Login to Gmail from a computer (computer).
  • Click on “Settings”, you find it in the upper right with the icon of a cogwheel (gear).
  • Then click on “See all settings”.
  • A new tab will open and several options will appear at the top, we choose “Filters and blocked addresses”.
  • If you can’t find the aforementioned function, press CTLR + F and write “Filters and blocked addresses”.
  • Inside this tab we have to click on “Create new filter”.
  • A window will open as if we were going to compose an email. Where it says “From” we write the email address of the person or company that we do not want their messages to go to spam.

Ready, this process can be repeated as many times as you want in Gmail so that the sender’s mail that you consider important does not go directly to the Spam folder, but to the main “Inbox” tray. It is important to clarify that this procedure can only be done from a computer, if you try it from a mobile phone, whether it is Android or iPhone, it will not work.
