FIFA 23 is almost upon us, but with some users getting early access to the title via the EA Play PS5 early test, many are already exploring the game’s new features.
A somewhat unexpected tool is the ability to disable critical comments in matches, which allows players to keep their confidence intact, even after making a mistake.
By checking the option to disable critical comments, the game’s commentators will not highlight the negative part of your gameplay, focusing on normal comments during a match.
This is certainly great news for those who don’t handle negative reviews very well, which can lead to a better result during matches.
The feature is also great for younger players or players who are still learning the mechanics of the game, as it lessens the frustration of missing a pass or shot on goal, motivating players to keep trying.
Unfortunately, the tool doesn’t seem to be working perfectly, as some players who have tested the FIFA Ultimate Team Division Rivals mode with the tool enabled have still encountered some negative comments from narrators, but this is certainly a feature that can be enhanced for the future.
FIFA 23 will be released on September 30, 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Stadia, PS4 and Xbox One.
