The Galaxy S23 line was the first launched with One UI 5.1, which is already available for several Samsung cell phones and now a report on Twitter says that another interesting novelty from the South Korean’s top-of-the-line devices should reach more smartphones: the Image Clipper.
According to user Revegnus, who has already anticipated some news about Samsung, the Image Clipper function should be available for the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series in April this year.
Image Clipper allows you to tap and hold on an object or person in an image and copy it to paste into other applications, as seen in the image below. It is a function that uses artificial intelligence to identify what should be selected.

In addition to screenshots, Revegnus also shared an image of a Samsung Members application post, where a moderator informs that the function should be released after an advance in the update schedule.
In the image it says:
Hello, the Galaxy S21 series multi-function support release schedule has changed, so I will respond later. We are currently preparing a release that includes multi-controller function and Image Clipper function, and the target schedule has been changed to April. I am sorry for the delay in supporting the multi-control function and ask for your understanding that the timing has changed. We will do our best to distribute it as soon as possible. Thank you very much.
Explaining better, the multi-control function allows you to use just one Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to control several Galaxy devices such as a cell phone and a tablet, for example.
There is no mention of other phones that may receive the update, but we expect that at least the latest Galaxy Z series smartphones will also support these features and receive them at some point in the future.
