After analyzing the photographic sector of the Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G, DxOMark tested the 5000mAh battery of the “non Plus” version of the Redmi Note 12 range, the Pro 5G.

The overall score of 136 was among the best in the DxOMark database which found very similar performance to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. In tests carried out by the French company, the battery lasted about 2.5 days with moderate use. Compared to other devices in its price range, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G ranked 5th due to “great charging experience”.

DXOMARK’S JUDGMENT

According to DxOMark, the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G offers

“decent battery life while playing, 57 minutes for a full chargeexcellent autonomy after a 5-minute boost charge which offered another 6 hours and 29 minutes on average, low battery consumption during the inactivity phase, with an average decrease of only 1% per night, and remarkable charging efficiency “.

Among the “cons” was highlighted a high decrease in autonomy during calls and while using the camera.


A COMPLETE SMARTPHONE

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixel resolutionrefresh rate up to 120Hz, touch sampling at 240Hz and Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support. The processor is a 6nm MediaTek 1080 with Mali-G68 GPU. As for memory, different configurations are available with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 internal memory.

As for the photographic sector, the Redmi Note 12 Pro has a 16MP front camera with f/2.44 aperture and a triple rear camera with 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), 1-micron pixel size and 4-in-1 Super Pixel mode that combines 4 pixels into 1. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a wide 119-degree field of view and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture

 

Redmi Note 12 Pro supports 5G networks with dual SIM card slots (dual 5G), WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB-C and support for Galileo, Glonass, Beidou and QZSS satellite positioning systems. Redmi Note 12 Pro is equipped with two stereo speakersa side fingerprint recognition sensor and 3.5 mm audio jack for those who still prefer to use wired headphones.

The dimensions are 162.9x76x7.9 mm for a weight of 187g and three different colors are available: Midnight Black, Polar White and Sky Blue. The user interface is MIUI 14.
