The walk will go to Broombridge before going on to Phibsboro, taking approximately an hour and all are welcome to attend.

The organisers of the solidarity walk said: “The purpose of this walk will be to mark one week passing since Ashling’s death and to show support for Ashling, her family, and all survivors and victims of gender-based violence.

“Please invite friends and family to join, including children and teenagers.

“It would be great to see as many members of our entire community as possible taking part.”
