Dublin Weather: Met Eireann forecasts glorious sunny spells as temperatures soar

Time to break out that sunscreen as Dublin will enjoy gorgeous sunny spells as the mercury is set to soar.

Met Eireann has said that mild and settled conditions with low amounts of rainfall are here to stay.

The Met Eireann forecast for today reads: “Today will be mostly dry with sunny spells and just a slight chance of an isolated shower.

“Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with a light to moderate south to southeast breeze.”

The forecast for the rest of the week is below:

WEDNESDAY NIGHT

“Tonight there will be clear spells and isolated light showers. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 7 degrees with light to moderate east to southeast or variable winds.

THURSDAY

“Tomorrow there will be sunny spells and isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with a moderate to fresh east to southeast breeze.

THURSDAY NIGHT

“Dry with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees with light to moderate northeasterly winds.

FRIDAY

“A breezy day with variable cloud cover and some sunny spells. Cloudiest conditions are expected in the south, bringing scattered outbreaks of light rain, but everywhere else there will just be isolated light showers. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees in a fresh east to northeast breeze.

FRIDAY NIGHT

“Mostly dry and clear at first, but it will get cloudier overnight and light showers will drift into the east and southeast. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees with light to moderate northeasterly winds.

SATURDAY

“Most areas will be dry at first, with a few sunny intervals, but it will get cloudier in the late morning and afternoon with scattered showers developing. It will be dry again in most areas by evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees in a moderate northeasterly breeze.

SUNDAY

“Sunday is looking mostly dry and sunny but there may be showers in the southwest. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees in a light to moderate easterly breeze.”
