Dublin traffic LIVE: M50 crash causing 20 minute tailbacks on roasting evening

An accident on the M50 is causing tailbacks of over 20 minutes this evening.

The crash happened southbound between Junction 12 Firhouse and Junction 13 Dundrum.

The debris is blocking the right and middle lanes, and emergency services are at the scene.

Tailbacks of over 20 minutes are being reported heading southbound, while rubbernecking delays are now being reported heading northbound in the same area.

As well as this, some debris is being reported on the N4 between Newcastle and Dodsboro.

Some delays are also being reported around Dundrum and near Dundrum Town Centre, where lights at the junction of Sandyford Road and Wyckham Way are now working but were out earlier.
