Ever dreamt of becoming a librarian? Well here’s a chance to make that dream a reality as the National Library of Ireland is hiring for an exciting new role.

The library is recruiting for the position of a Digital Engagement Librarian, (Assistant Keeper, Grade 2) in Dublin.

The job description states: “This newly created role will develop the NLI’s digital engagement further, working with colleagues in the Exhibitions, Learning & Programming Department to review, enhance, select and report on digital platforms, create and deliver multimedia content, and provide hands-on expertise on any digital initiatives in the ELP department.”

The ideal applicant will have a minimum of two years’ experience with digital content creation, excellent working knowledge of audio/video hardware and software, proven experience with digital engagement platforms and tools, and more.

Candidates are required to submit a copy of their CV with a letter of interest and the names and contact details of two referees by email to careers@nli.ie.
