Dublin Airport pile up sees truck plow into stopped car before collecting another

A truck plowed into a stationary car before collecting another car in a pile up near Dublin Airport.

The crash happened on the Naul Road at the rear of the Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency services including Gardai and the Dublin Fire Brigade rushed to the scene.

DFB paramedics treated one of the people involved in the smash for minor injuries at the scene.

Luckily, no serious injuries were reported.

Gardai said: “Gardai are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred on the Naul Road, Cloghran on the 20 July 2021 at approximately 1.20pm.

“Three vehicles were involved in the collision. A truck crashed into the back of a stationary vehicle which in turn collided with a third vehicle.

“No injuries were reported and investigations are ongoing.”
