Apple is trying to match the iPhone mobile shopping experience on its official website to the one currently enjoyed by users who go to an official store or authorized seller with the launch of the new Shop with a Specialist over Video function.
The idea is that, within the established hours, the interested person can contact with a few clicks a company specialist via live video in a one-way and secure experience, where the specialist will not see the client’s image.
For more personalized attention through the screen
The specialist will advise at all times on what you need to know, from available models to their characteristics, including sizes and colors, as well as supported functions, including a recently launched service such as emergency service and satellite communication.
The specialist can also advise you on the ways that customers have to migrate from other mobile systems to iOS, the existing financing options, and the offers available both on their own and through different operators.
Users will be able to obtain credits to buy their new iPhone phones at a lower price in exchange for offering older iPhone models. Apple says that among the options that can be purchased is the new yellow color option of the iPhone 14 Plus, thus completing the diverse range of colors available in the iPhone 14 family.
Complementing other channels of contact with specialists
The experience now reaches users in the United States, who will have a daily schedule of 7 in the morning to 7 in the afternoon to access the new experience, although they can still choose to contact a specialist by phone or chat 24 hours a day.
Karen Rasmussen, Apple’s Director of Retail Online, notes that:
We’re constantly innovating to deliver an even more personalized experience for our customers, meeting where they are to deliver the best of Apple. With Shop with a Specialist over Video, our team members are excited to connect with customers and provide exceptional service as they discover which iPhone is best for them.
For now the new experience is focused on mobiles, available at the link apple.com/shop/buy-iphoneAlthough it may be possible that in the future it will also expand for the purchase of other devices, something that will be seen in due course.
