This Thursday (23), Dell presented its new notebooks and workstations aimed at the future of work. The portfolio includes equipment options from the Latitude and Precision lines.
According to the company, laptops and workstations were redesigned to think about the evolution of work models and the need for technologies to balance collaboration and productivity features.
All new products are equipped with the 13th generation of Intel Core processors. In addition, they contain the new version of Dell Optimizer 4.0 software, with features to enhance the user experience, such as managing the accessories ecosystem.
“Although many professionals today have the ability to work from anywhere, there are still limitations that restrict our work experiences. Solving these challenges is at the heart of our design philosophy and reflects the innovations found in our commercial portfolio. It spans from device to ecosystem to software and solutions that bring a heightened sense of connection and collaboration.”

The Latitude 9440 is considered the brand’s smallest 14-inch notebook. It is aimed at executives and professionals who want high performance and mobility, while leveraging the design of the XPS line – like the borderless backlit keyboard on the XPS 13 Plus.
This model features a machined aluminum construction, accompanied by diamond-cut edges and graphite color. It even features a 2-in-1 design that allows it to rotate for a tablet look. Already at the end, the dual fan systems at the rear promise to reduce temperatures in a silent way.
The screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio and Quad HD+ resolution. In addition, there is a tactile touchpad with buttons that light up, for functions to turn on and off the camera, microphone and other features – at first connected to Zoom, and in the future, to Microsoft Teams.
The new Latitude 7000 series has models with more variety of sizes, shapes and functions. They have screens of 13, 14 or 16 inches, with a 16:10 aspect ratio. All feature a mini-LED keyboard, a wider touchpad and battery savings inspired by the 9440. There are still 5 MP IR, FHD IR or FHD camera options.
In the specific case of the Latitude 7340 and 7440 Ultralight notebooks, the alternatives with a 14-inch screen weigh just over 1 kg. The 13-inch options are less than 1 kg.
Dell even added a new “river” color, such as a variation between blue and gray, with a focus on providing a premium look. To complete, there is support for 5G connectivity, so you don’t run out of internet even on the go.
The Latitude line also received new models from the 3000 and 5000 series, with 13, 14 and 15 inch variants. Their highlight is the improvement of thermal performance, to operate at lower temperatures and with less noise.
In the case of the 5000 series, the new models have an expanded touchpad design and components with recycled plastics, recovered carbon fiber, bioplastics and plastics from the ocean. The product family has a 64% increase in the use of recycled and renewable plastics by weight compared to the previous generation.
In the line of mobile workstations, the Precision 5680 arrives with a 16-inch screen and a chassis considered the most compact ever manufactured by Dell. The design still features ultra-thin edges on three sides and a tactile touchpad with speed and responsive feedback in mind.
It still has Grade A audio speakers and resolution up to Ultra HD + PremierColor. The specs also include up to Intel Core i9 processor (45W), NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada graphics and 64GB of DDR5 memory. The patented Dual Opposite Outlet fan technology is present, as well as an HDMI port, an SD card slot and an optional smart card reader.
The entry-level Precision 3000 series and the more powerful Precision 7000 have also been updated. All with ISV certifications, for 2D or 3D workflows and other tasks.
