After having a gameplay video leaked, the game Crash Team Rumble now has a set release date. Crash Bandicoot and Friends will hit consoles on June 20, 2023.
The game is developed by Toys For Bob and published by Activision Publishing. It will have its pre-sale starting from this Tuesday (21). Those who purchase during the period will have access to the Closed Beta, scheduled to take place between April 20th and 24th.
During the testing period, the title will have the heroes and villains of the Crash universe and three arenas. There will be five playable characters in the Closed Beta: Crash Bandicoot, Coco, Tawna, Neo Cortex and Dingodile. Each map has a different size, layout, challenges and Relic Stations – which unlock unique team powers.
In the game, players will be able to combine the character with skills in order to strategically use special moves to win. Each is a different type – Blocker, Booster or Scorer. Teams will have to be the first to carry the most Wumpa fruit to the drop zone, while also defending the zone from the enemy.
“We are very excited for fans to get hands-on experience with Crash Team Rumble during the April Closed Beta. We really value community feedback and will use this information to fine-tune the game for an amazing player experience on launch day. See you in the Closed Beta!”
