Check Point Software and Samsung have entered into a new partnership to secure mobile devices. With this, Check Point Harmony Mobile becomes integrated with the security and device management platform, Samsung Knox, and manages to prevent malicious applications from acting on the operating system.
According to a survey by the cybersecurity company, with the increase in remote work, 97% of work organizations face mobile malware threats. And, considering that the home office modality will expand to 60% by 2024, it is important that protection measures for the data of professionals, companies and equipment are safe.
The tool uses artificial intelligence technologies, device behavior analysis and globally shared threat intelligence from the Check Point ThreatCloud network. Harmony Mobile updates Knox Manage in real time on each device’s security posture, enabling secure access to corporate assets and applications and prevents lateral movement of modern threats and attackssuch as phishing, mobile ransomware, and malware hidden in email attachments.
The partnership enables unique mitigation capabilities and meets the most stringent corporate and industry requirements for security.
