This project began last year with a pilot plan in Brazil, the United States and India with Motorola, but it will begin to be taken to all the places in the world where the brand sells its phones; the above, thanks to a partnership with firmenich, a company in charge of the production of raw materials for the elaboration of perfumes.
The idea of this strategy is that users perceive the smell of the mobile from the moment they open the box and that they maintain it during their daily use, as is the case with perfumes or air fresheners for the car.

The work of both companies was based on four pillars to create the fragrance: diversity, innovation, trust and that it was unique. The result was an aroma, consisting of a complex blend of fresh aldehydes, aromatic notes, and tonic spices, felt upon opening the box.

The design of this scent took a year of development, including tests in various countries, to launch it on the brand’s highest-end phones, such as the Edge line.
According to the results obtained, the fragrance will be impregnated in the box for 90 days, although both companies hope to take this project to more places apart from their phones, although for now the perfume is not sold separately.
