The Mountain View giant announced yesterday’s availability on Pixel 10 of this function, useful because it can respond to the lost or ignored calls to find out what the interlocutor wanted (in the background, the user will notice it for the presence of a real -time transcription, in order to be able to respond in case the call was urgent). At the moment, as often happens, Italy remains to look.

Google continues from year to year to enrich the features of the Google app telephone on its devices of the Pixel range (and not only), underlining the fact that one of the original (perhaps no longer main) tasks of the smartphones is to make/receive calls.
On the smartphones of the Mountain View giant has been the suite for a few years Call assistancethe one that, among the various tools, makes available to users the possibility of identifying spam calls and filtering calls with an automatic respondent.
Among the news announced with the launch of the Google Pixel 10 Take a Messagefeatures that works entirely on the device, using the same spam detection model as Call filterbut which on the most recent smartphones can count on the support of artificial intelligence that materializes in functionality Call Notes (available, not in Italy, starting from the pixels 9).
Availability limited to the most recent models and a few markets
In any case, yesterday Google announced that functionality Take a Message It is now available on all the smartphones of the Pixel 10 range, although (by consulting the dedicated support page) it is limited to users of Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
A few days after the announcement of the functionality, Google had made it known that it would be compatible with all Pixel smartphones starting from the Google Pixel 4 and that it could also be used on Pixel Watch 2 (and subsequent models), as long as they are associated with at least a Google Pixel 6 (the first of the Tensor era).
However, it is not yet clear when Take a Message (And Call Notes) Google Telefonte can be extended to the oldest devices, at least in the currently supported markets. It is not clear even when it will reach the pixels 10 of Italian users. We will update you when Big G communicated something about it.
