For users eager to get their hands on the public beta of HarmonyOS 6, it is essential to follow some simple but crucial instructions: for those who were already registered for the phase closed betathe procedure is extremely simple, you just need to go to Settings -> System and updates to check and start downloading the new firmware; Those approaching the company’s software testing program for the first time will have to visit the My HUAWEI app and from there proceed with registering for the public beta.

As always in these cases, it is important to underline that it is one unstable buildthis means that while it offers a taste of what’s new, it could cause slowdowns, increased energy consumption and other malfunctions on the device.

It is also advisable to use a reliable network connection when installing the firmware, as well as maintaining at least 10 GB of free space on the device, to avoid any errors during the update due to insufficient space.

The introduction of HarmonyOS 6 Beta marks a significant evolution in the HUAWEI ecosystem, although some details were shared as early as June, the company’s analytical approach suggests that more news may be coming soon. We therefore just have to wait for the feedback from Beta users to fully understand the potential of this new version of the HUAWEI operating system.
