A benq launched three new monitors to update its Ergo Arm line. In this sense, these are the models PD2706UA, PD2705UA It is PD3205UA, which come as an option for the professional public. In general, the three products are very similar.
The first two mentioned are 27 inches in size while the second is 32″. The features in common between them include support for a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 4K resolution, a viewing angle of 178º and brightness that varies between 250-350 nits The name of the line is due to the flexible support that comes with all of them and allows adjustments in different ways and aspects.
Regarding the differences, it is worth mentioning that the PD2706UA model is the only one of the three that supports DCI P3. That is, it allows for wider color coverage, in line with the film industry standard. The other two, finally, support the traditional sRGB.
The most complete version of the PD2706UA and the PD3205UA have power of up to 90W through its USB-C port. But the most basic version of the 27-inch model has up to 65W. In addition, they are very similar both in appearance and in the availability of ports: HDMI 2.0, USB-C, a DisplayPort 1.4, three USB-A, a P2 output and two USB-B.
All three models are available on BenQ’s official website. As for the value, those interested can buy the PD2706UA for $620 (BRL 3,240 in direct conversion) and the PD2705UA for $600 (BRL 3,136). Finally, the PD3205UA variant can be purchased for $750 (BRL 3,920).
