The evening’s events will kick off with a Brides Crosses workshop and an Imbolc awareness video
Events this week will include a workshop, storytelling, art exhibition and concert as part of the Imbolc Festival run by Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich.
With people banned from meeting these days, a virtual multi – arts program is to be provided to celebrate the festival and the beginning of spring.
The evening’s events will begin with a Bride’s Crosses workshop and Imbolc awareness video and various events will take place throughout the week.
Róisín McDonough, Chief Executive of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, praised Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich ‘s work in providing cultural events for the public despite the pandemic.
“Arts and cultural groups such as the Cultúrlann were heartening during the pandemic,” McDonough said.
“They remind us that the arts are more than just a hobby of time. They show that creativity is still one of the most inspiring things these days. ”
The events will be featured on the Cultúrlann ‘s various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram and Youtube.
