The Italian developer Kunos Simulazioni, responsible for the Assetto Corsa franchise, plans to launch a new edition of the racing simulator in spring 2024 in the northern hemisphere, which corresponds to the 2nd quarter of the year, between March and June.
The information was extracted from a tax report by the Digital Bros, the parent company of Assetto Corsa’s publisher, with company’s financial results up to December 31, 2022 and some planning for the coming years.
The document also highlighted the accumulated sales of Assetto Corsa (there are two games, Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione), which exceeded 28 million units, being considered a success in the simulation segment.
In all, the franchise has already raised more than € 104 million in revenue, something around R$ 582 million in the current conversion. Kunos Simulazioni had already confirmed that Assetto Corsa 2 would be released in 2024, but now it has specified a period for this.

Assetto Corsa is a racing simulation game that seeks to recreate the real atmosphere of driving on professional circuits. The series was quite successful on the PC and is one of the titles most remembered by lovers of the genre.
Over the years, even though the series Assetto Corsa never reached the heights of genre heavyweights like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, there’s still plenty of excitement surrounding what the future might hold for the franchise.
