Apple Watch, official watchOS 7 with ballet tracking and much more

No, there is no mistake in the title. You got it right: during the keynote dedicated to the 2020 edition of the WWDC Apple made official watchOS 7, which introduces, among other things, tracking of ballets.

Thanks to this major update, Apple Watch is able to track physical activity related to ballets, from hip hop ones (they were mentioned directly by the Cupertino company) to various genres of “musical fun”. The smartwatch can indeed detect the vertical and horizontal rotation of the arms, also taking into account vertical acceleration and heart rate.

But it’s not over here: taking advantage of the possibilities of watchOS 7, Apple Watch it can also detect when the user is washing their hands. For the rest, the Cupertino company has decided to give users more possibilities regarding the Watch faces, which can now be shared, for example, with their friends. There is also no shortage of news regarding bicycle journeys, sleep tracking and a “Wind down” mode that creates a routine and allows you to avoid distractions.

We have listed the main changes introduced by the update, but for more information, we advise you to take a look at the official Apple website (more information in addition to that provided during the event should be published shortly).
