We all know Apple’s iCloud service, which since the last updates has become a service not only for managing files in the cloud, but also for an exponential increase in security. This service has now seen how it has been updated on the Windows platform to its version 13 with functions for new files and for security.
iCloud for Windows now supports ProRes, ProRAW, and strong password generation
With the new updates from Apple on iOS, Mac and iPadOS, a new feature has been introduced which is ProRes. Apple defines it as providing a combination of multi-channel real-time editing performance, excellent image quality and low storage rates. Apple ProRes codecs take advantage of all the multicore processing power and incorporate fast decoding modes and reduced resolution.
ProRaw is, according to the company the combination of a standard RAW information with the image processing of the iPhone, which gives you more flexibility when editing the exposure, the color and white balance of your photos.
These two new features now have a place in iCloud within the Windows platform, thanks to the update that brings us to version 13. That is, we can access files in these formats from Windows PC through iCloud. So simple but necessary.
