AirPods Pro 2 Firmware Update Should End Audio Bugs

Apple has released new firmware that promises to fix software issues on the AirPods Pro 2, which have been the subject of consumer complaints on online forums. The reports specify that the sound was often not synchronized between the two headphones and that it was misaligned when watching videos.

The new version is characterized by build 5B58 (previous was 5A377) and talks about generic improvements and bug fixes. Apparently, the main impact will be when the AirPods are connected via Bluetooth to the iPhone. You need to open the settings on the iPhone, go to the Bluetooth menu and select an AirPods model from the device list. Then you need to click on the “i” and then on “Firmware Version” to check which build is installed.

Another rumor related to the AirPods Pro 2 is that the devices are having production issues. According to analyst Ming Chi Kuo Apple does not seem to suffer from drops in demand and will ship up to 20 million AirPods Pro 2 units by the end of 2022 to supply Black Friday and Christmas orders.

Announced in September, Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 has a new H2 chip as its predecessor, as well as better support for spatial audio, more effective noise cancellation and also longer battery life, which has 49.7 mAh and autonomy of 6 hours of playback. In Europe, the headphones cost R$ 2,300.
