Currently, one of the promising markets within the gaming industry is portable consoles. They are making a comeback in the market, both for cloud gaming and retro gaming.

Nintendo was one of the first companies to bring this type of product back into fashion when it launched its Switch consoles. Soon after, other manufacturers followed suit and released devices like Steam Deck and Logitech G Cloud. And, integrating this wave and looking for its share in the market, Abxylute announced a new portable console.

Based on Android, the controller offers the ability to stream games from services like NVIDIA GeForce Now, Xbox Cloud Gaming, or Steam Link. At the same time, the device must be able to run not very demanding retro games.

It will come with MediaTek MT8385 chipset (Genio 350) with a Mali-G52 GPU and four 2GHz ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

The console’s screen is a 7-inch IPS LCD panel with 1080p resolution and 60Hz refresh rate. In the case of the 5,000mAh battery, gamers will have more than 8 hours of battery life. It was developed to be practical and comfortable for transport, measuring 250x115x30 mm with a weight of 410 grams.

The company will rely on crowdfunding and supporters will have product access for $200. At the end of the campaign, the general public will have access to the control for 250 dollars (R$ 1,272). The official launch should still be in the first quarter of 2023.
